Post subject:  Beaches in Switzerland

I know what you're thinking - Switzerland is landlocked and has no beaches. But during summer the Swiss seem to love to sunbathe and swim in rivers and lakes. There are lots of nudist opportunities but I haven't found anything worthwhile from a cfnm perspective. Particularly in the German-speaking areas I thought they'd be a bit more, well, German about it, but the nudist areas seem to be very segregated from clothed areas.

Werdinsel - an island in the Limmat river, about 5km north west of the middle of Zurich. The island is maybe 500m long, of which the northern 200m is nudist. There are signs indicating the start of the nude area. The nude area has a meadow, some forested areas, and a few places where you can get down to the river to swim (the river can flow quickly so probably more of a splash about in the shallows). Only a few females present, all older and nude. Large number of gay males, very cruisey atmosphere particularly when walking along the paths through the forested areas. At least 95% male. Clothed people walking on the opposite banks of the river but a long way away. Not recommended for cfnm.

Seebad Katzensee - a beach on a lake (Katzensee), about 8km north of Zurich. Mostly a textile "resort" but with a small nudist area marked "FKK". The nudist area is behind a wooden fence for privacy and is 100% nude. No cfnm.

Badestelle Choller - a beach on a lake (Zugersee), about 3km west of the middle of Zug. Short walk from the Chollermüli train station. Small grassy meadow with park benches, then silty/sand "beach" area onto the lake. Marked "FKK". When I visited it was quite busy (~70 people), and mostly nude. The area is surrounded by trees with privacy from textile areas. A (textile) canoe club launches boats 20 metres away but no interaction. Not recommended for cfnm.

My work takes me to Switzerland frequently so if anyone has any suggestions I'm all ears. (Also, as this lockdown drags on and on I'm running out of obvious places to review and am scraping the bottom of the "not bucket-list destinations, but if you happen to be in the neighbourhood" category.)

Look for saunas. Some/most will have outside areas that are often C/O
