I have too be honest I see this Documentry being a flop. :(

There has been little info and updates and the forums has not been taking off with little members joining. :(

And I don't know who is in charge of the thing.

Or, instead of dividing their efforts to placate forum members, maybe they are focusing on the job at hand, instead of allowing themselves to be sidelined by any external influences/distraction?

Random Ideas the documentary : I come from India, where CFNM is often raised to the level of platonic spiritual austerity, in public group settings. In Jains and in Hindus for Haridwar, it was common for boys to be naked in front of women, almost till the age of marriage. The transition for the man then, to a marital life where focus was more on love, not just body was easier then, perhaps because all nudity of boys-to-men happened largely in innocence. From the most early years to late teens. Societal changes made those traditions disappear and now the male frustration in the masses, is observably higher in India. Sects where CFNM is common rarely report incidents of violent rapes and hurt. That time has gone and its a pity.

They had a uncut version of their trailer then took it down again.

And I don't know if it's the same people working on it or not that change and change again.

Only if they would update their main homepage more and give us a better understanding.

I guess we have to be patient. A rushed meal is never as good as a well prepared one!

However, I suggested that if they do interviews of men into CFNM, they follow the lead on the HBO documentary "Private Dicks", that is, the men are completely nude when being interviewed by the female interviewers.

I have to admit that I had this fantasy of being part of some type of online blog where a group of women and one naked guy talk about sexual objectification and where the whole thing is made really uncomfortable for the guy by the fact that he is naked while he is doing this podcast with all of these dressed women.

I really looking forward to this documentary and I think that the fact that the documentary by women makes it sound really promising.

With apologies and commiserations to those villagers and others who contributed to the crowdfunding, I am going to assume it is a fact.

Other than attempting to arrange some interviews that never took place has anyone seen any evidence of any real effort to produce anything? :?

Last time I talked to Ana, it was still on, just a back burner thing. There was a general sense of enthusiasm about the project, but it was pushed too hard, too fast. Some movies take 10 years to come to fruition. So no, I'm not assuming anything because I *don't* have the facts. Is it happening soon - doubtful. But is it dead - no one here has the knowledge to assume it's a fact, but that's not the first time for this forum.

I was in contact with their forum Admin when they got nuked with spammers last year.
Offered to help and Mod / nuke assholes on their behalf .... declined.
no real communication or follow up and I got the impression they were trying to fan out the enterprise ....
BUT nobody was really in charge.

The recent demise of their forum is a logical consequence of any online forum which does not have 24/7 Admin oversight.

The links to their "TEAM" and "CAST" are dead
so I will say their online presence is dead

whether their actual film project is as well ...... ?????
I would like to think NOT,

but talk is cheap ... takes money to buy whiskey
so far it seems nobody is buying any whiskey

If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.

If it looks like a dead duck, swims like a dead duck, and quacks like a dead duck, then it probably is a dead duck.

What a great idea Michael, I wonder if Brad has thought of that for the Village? :!:

Of course it is a VERY common way of running a forum, and in fact my last post was held for moderator approval

I know that Michael, I am the moderator who approved it

So why didn't the CFNM film people follow standard practice?

Ask them

Devotional Sex wrote:
And to the moderators here - I emailed the CFNM Film with a summary of how CFNM is common within Devotional Sex, and that as it is done without humiliation or dominance it is something that vanilla women and men can enjoy. I got a reply along the lines of "very interesting. I'll talk about it with the others" and never heard back.

Now that the film seems dead, would it be ok to post that email here (perhaps in a new topic)?

I believe that it could be appropriate, Michael. Having said that I have not seen it, so I am not able to make a call based on the content. Of course you could refer to the rules for posting, you have read them, haven't you? They would be the best guide to what is appropriate for this Village. Personally I would like to see it.

Just was perusing this topic, hoping there'd be new news. Looks like no, there isn't. Even though I was supposed to be in this documentary at one point, I haven't heard a thing from the "CFNM Team". Much like the rest of you all, it appears things are on hiatus or locked up in post-production. That does happen more often than you think.

I did want to follow-up on something my dear Mod compatriot Insider had touched on. Their links. I actually was able to still access CFNMFilms.com's ABOUT, CAST, and TEAM pages:

http://cfnmfilms.com/about/

http://cfnmfilms.com/cast/

http://cfnmfilms.com/team/

But yeah, the forum is withered up and disappeared. I guess we'll see what comes of it, now, over a year later!

BUT my loaded Firefox won't access them

What I find strange was that the trailer had been pulled from Vimeo. As far as I know, it doesn't cost money to post something on that site, so they would have had to actively pull it down.

It felt like the project changed focus as time went on. For example, here is from their page you just posted. How many of them have anything directly to do with what we talk about on this board:

Quote:
Our film explores 5 questions:
1. Do women have a higher sex drive then men?
2. How do women sexually objectify men in society?
3. Does sexual repression intensify the female sex drive?
4. What is the difference between the male and female orgasm?
5. Does the pill decrease the sex drive?

I just jumped onto Vimeo, to check out if Jan's trailer was actually gone. It doesn't look like it was pulled, they just re-did the trailer. In fact, instead of there being just one, there's now two.

A re-edited version of the first: https://vimeo.com/220275202

A completely different, sort of 'teaser' trailer: https://vimeo.com/222530527

Well, here is an interesting development I stumbled upon today while flipping through my Vimeo newsfeed, a new trailer from "CFNM Films":

https://vimeo.com/233232728

If you notice, the focus has slightly shifted away from speaking specifically of CFNM. It's seemingly, subtly more geared towards exploring female sexuality through the lens of a variety of factors. It still has the same thesis as it did at the beginning - "do women have as strong of a sex drive as men?". But it's a bit apparent they're tweaking what might reach a wider audience.

All this, of course, is just my lowly opinion.

I've corresponded with Anna and others for a while. The project definitely has passionate followers - all of whom are female. As with all productions, there is some "hustle" to get it going, and, folks seeking money. But I've never believed this project to be a scam, just something that needs a stronger following.
