I understand there are some changes happened to the user settings in this site. So, what's the number of posts one should contribute in order to regain the access to the other threads.

Just keep posting until they magically appear.

Sadly I dont know how I lost access to the forum and now I have to get through this. I hope it doesnt need dozens of posts to gain access. Anyway, happy to be here again and lets hope I will see soon my favorite threads!!

I have to agree, also they are supposed to be substantive rather then just post to get to the required number, this is my 3rd but I have to ask wouldn't one of those "Are you human" things accomplish the same thing? or those things where you have to "Click all the boxes with a car in it"?

Then you're an outlier. Over the last two weeks, we've had a couple of hundred reach standard access status while concurrently posting a few things that were contributory in value, and none had the problems indicated by the only 2 complaints noted here. If I or the other moderators got money from this forum, we'd have a complaints and recommendations box.

I'm glad i found this section. I was getting pretty frustrated not having permission to view any of the forums. I almost gave up.

Hi, I was a member a few years ago and I’m trying to find a very important file I posted. I can’t remember my username, is there anyway to find it if I provide my email address? Thanks

Well whatever your forgotten username was, I hope it had a bit more class than the one you are using now.

Moderators cannot see user's email addresses but Admins can.

I am pretty sure that you can't register two usernames on the same email address s if you used the same email address now as what you used to register before things might get complicated.

Our Admin will probably get in touch when he sees this, depending on his workload of course.

Glad I found this thread, thought the forum was closed/moving. I don't envy the admins who have to approve all those newbie posts though.
