Bulletin Board Codes (BBCodes) allow folks to make their posts special while also providing a number of powerful tools. The following are BBCodes that should enhance your posts. This list will continue to be amended.
To help with the basic BBcode, here's a helpful page located on the phpBB site:

POSTING EMBEDDED PHOTOS WITH BBCode:This board recommends uploading photos to
http://www.dumparump.com as it has the least amount of redirects, pop-ups and malicious browser attacks. To upload an image for your posts, do the following:
- Go to http://www.dumparump.com
- The instructional photo below can be enlarged by clicking on it (which is exactly what we're teaching). Looking at that photo:
1. Click on the number of images you want to upload (the forum only allows 20 per post)
2. In the second field, click on "Browse...", then upload each image one-by-one.
3. Click on how large you want the thumbnail sizes to be in your posts.
4. Type in the 4-digit security code
5. Check "I have read and agree...." and then click Upload File below.

- After they have been uploaded, you'll be redirected to the following page. Under "Hotlink a clickable thumbnail for a Forum or Message Board" Click on "Copy URL".
- The BBCode for the hotlinks will be highlighted in blue, as shown below:

- Right click on the blue highlighted code and copy into your post.
That's it! The two hotlink photos embedded in this instructional post were done the same way.

UPLOADING AND POSTING MULTIPLE IMAGES WITHIN A SINGLE POSTWhen posting multiple photos, we request all members to group multiple images within a single post as opposed to each image going into a separate post. This latter practice floods the topic thread and takes up board real estate. This in turn makes perusing through a topic thread looking for certain posts far more timely.
In addition, when grouping within a post, please take the time to group them next to each other horizontally as opposed to linearly with spaces. Again, this latter practice also can flood threads. The following offers a pictorial guide on how to do this properly when using dumparump.com, but the technique is consistent for all image host sites:
TutorialAs discussed above, when uploading photos, you may need to designate how many images your are uploading at one time. Once they are all uploaded, you can then see the BBcode for each of the uploaded images, which are grouped in a single box. You can copy all codes at once by clicking upon the "Copy URL", which will highlight in blue all the image codes. Right click, then copy the codes, as shown here:

SELECTING BEST IMAGE SIZEHere are the three sizes allowed by dumpArump.com to host hotlink thumbnail photos embedded in forum posts:
100 px:
200 px:
300 px:
The size used is a judgment call. In general, if it's just a couple or several photos, the largest size allow folks to see the content in good detail without having to click on it to get the full size, unless they want to see the full size or to save it to their hard drive. Alternatively, folks don't like to see posts where there are dozens of photos all at the largest size. And if you're posting dozens upon dozens, I recommend the smallest.
