This topic is for information, logistics and reviews of specific WNBR events held world-wide.

History/Background:

The World Naked Bike Ride (WNBR) is an international clothing-optional bike ride in which participants plan, meet and ride together en masse on human-powered transport (the vast majority on bicycles, but some on skateboards and inline skates), to "deliver a vision of a cleaner, safer, body-positive world." The dress code motto is "bare as you dare". Full or partial nudity is encouraged, but not mandatory. There is no mandate to cover intimate parts; this is a distinguishing feature of the WNBR against other cycling events.

The WNBR had taken many forms over the past two decades, but it was in 2004 when we witnessed the first global orchestration of these events wherein it was held in 28 cities, in ten countries on four continents. By 2010, WNBR had expanded to stage rides in 74 cities, in 17 countries, from the United States to United Kingdom and Hungary to Paraguay

Creative expression is also encouraged to generate a fun and immersive atmosphere during the ride, capture the attention and imagination of the public and media, and make the experience more personalized and fulfilling for the riders. Body art, such as body painting, are common forms of creative expression, as well as costumes, art bikes, portable sound reinforcement systems (such as public address systems, bullhorns and boomboxes) and musical instruments or other types of noisemaker.

Pre- and post-ride parties for WNBRs have become events unto themselves, often featuring musical bands, DJs, body painting, temporary structures/installation art, political tabling, and catering - woohoo! "Less gas, more ass!" is their motto! Note: because public nudity is considered "indecent exposure" or "lewd conduct" and therefore illegal in many of the jurisdictions wherein WNBR rides are held, their websites are often unofficial and come and go depending upon the event.

Great atmosphere and I get plenty of pics.

I will aim to find my reviews from the web. Not 100% sure where though.

I will be in London so should be able to make it. I will be with my wife so I won't be participating but should be able to get some pictures on which I will focus on the spectators.

Hit the tail end of the Brighton ride today. Thanks to shitty weather the turnout was not quite as good as last years ride but seeing as how it only stopped raining about 30 mins before the start it wasn't too bad at all, about 275 riders was a number I heard being thrown about.

Unfortunately there were only a few CFNM situations and photos to be had. Tried my best but there was a serious shortage of clothed women! There were some nice looking ladies there today and as usual I kept my camera shutter going until there was nothing left to shoot. Cleared out about 25 blurry ones and 10 of sky, feet and pebbles but still managed about 75 good ones.

I was hoping to go to either London or Brighton this year, but the dates are no good for me. Can anyone recommend any other WNBR events taking place in the UK in 2021.
Thanks

London & Brighton are the two best. I think Bristol and Manchester come next. I could be wrong, but I'm quite well versed on UK WNBR's> Others might be able to tell you if others have an okay turnout too. Where are you based?

(I too will have to miss London...... VERY SAD! But okay for Brighton)

Thanks for the reply. Manchester would be nearer for me. Brighton always looks like it has the best atmosphere just from the videos I have seen. I dont really fancy going anywhere with low numbers off participants.

2023 dates now mostly confirmed. I have London and Brighton both in the pipeline.
https://wnbrlondon.uk/ start again has lost the 'best' one, but a Hyde Park alternative still there.
Brighton also as ever.

Anybody else attending the London and/or Brighton Rides 10 and 1 June '23

Any one in the North of England might want to consider Manchester & York on the same weekend.

London start locations seem to be the usual mix. I am going to use Wellington Arch, Hyde Park Corner W1J 7JZ

Great ride today. Never seen so many partake. Pre ride wasn’t too shabby either at Wellington Arch.
I had to skip away at the King’s house to catch my train. But a great one. Even got groped by a pretty little thing who said. “Ohh what a cute one!”
